How I Got Bad Credit

About 6 months ago I had gone through some pretty rough times. I had lost my job as a project coordinator for a large accounting firm, and my hours were cut down to less than 10 hours a week. I had stopped making my monthly payments on most of my debts, and the ones I was making, were being paid late. After a few months most of my accounts were sent to collection agencies as charge offs.  My life became an endless collection nightmare as my phone would ring constantly with harassing calls from debt collection agencies. Eventually I had to file bankruptcy, but the damage was done, and my credit credit was TOAST.
